Kannur-Bangalore Express train averted a major accident The express train was traveling from Kannur to Bangalore. Boulders fell
on the tracks from the mountain between Toppuri-Shivdi Ghand in Bengaluru division around 3.50 am on Friday. Five coaches
derailed on the train
On receiving information, railway officials rushed to the spot and carried out rescue operations. There were 2348 people on the
train in the accident
